Italian Fruit Filling
My Mother-in-law used to make a fruit filling for cakes, mainly wedding caked. Although I asked her many times for the recipe she would never share it. It had coconut , cherries, pineapple, raisins, pecans, but I could never figure out the binding. She was from up-state New York (Catskill Mtn.) area. She got the recipe from a lady who made wedding cakes and swore her to secrecy. If anyone has this or a similar recipe I’d love to have it.
