Fudge Pie Recipe
My mother made what I call Fudge Pies for my brother and I. It was just a simple pie crust with a chocolate syrup type filling that barely covered the bottom of the crust but was so delicious hot out of the oven when we got off that school bus. He and I would split one pie. I have tried various recipes for Fudge Pie with no luck; they are usually too custardy or too fudgey. Maybe I am giving it an incorrect name. Any ideas?
